there is a good chance that the J-spec Power FC versions will work with a U.S. spec Z32. The ones for the RX-7 work just fine. Since it completely replaces your factory ECU, you dont have to worry about all of the other mumbo jumbo involved with a reprogrammed rom or piggy back type system. The ease of reprogramming it is great! You can just tell the power fc, what changes need to be made instead of sending out your rom to be reprogrammed. Say you install bigger injectors later on, you would have to send your ECU back to Jun for another couple of years. (j/k) With the Power FC, just make a few changes on the hand held controller and the car will start right up. I should stop before I get your hopes to high. Oh and another interesting bit of info... The RX-7 Power FC's plug right in regardless of what year the car is. Im pretty sure the Z32 is the same way. I dont think A'PEXi makes one for 90-91, 92-95, and another for 96. From what i've heard, its One Size Fits ALL! I replaced my 8 bit ECU with the 16 bit Power FC. Its amazing how much smoother the car runs now. give A'PEXi a call. they should have more details on the different applications for the J-spec 300ZX Power FC. good luck!
